I have just completed my first visit to an offshore platform, the Centrica 3 Bravo asset in the North Sea. Having completed my offshore safety certificates with HOTA in Hull, I am now able to support both onshore and offshore facilities to deliver their Human Factors improvements. In this instance, I worked with Centrica Storage to review their isolation processes and conduct a gap analysis between the onshore gas terminal and the offshore platform. It was an new experience for me; I was only there for a couple of days and the weather was good, so I think I had a gentle introduction!
