Disastrous Dinners

When you read of an accident in the press and it’s reported that it was due to ‘human error’, do you ever ask yourself what prompted that behaviour? Why weren’t the people involved more careful? Why didn’t they follow the rules?

In this event, I will present an incident from the 1980s which had a significant impact on the quality of the local drinking water supply and how the advice given to the local population continues to raise questions about the long-term consequences. There will be a meet and greet at 18:30 with the presentation starting around 19:00. A hot buffet consisting of beef lasagne, chips and salad will be provided (followed by cheesecake or crumble), with a vegetarian alternative available on request. Drinks are not provided but the venue has a bar for purchasing.

Kindly note, this event is open to registrants only.
