I’m very pleased to say I’ve been offered the opportunity to present my paper at Hazards this year. I’ll be talking about the competences required to conduct Human Reliability Analysis/Safety Critical Task Analysis (HRA/SCTA). It’s intended to provided a robust and demonstrable framework for COMAH sites to develop in-house capability to lead their own analyses. Whilst the only guidance available at present suggests using a chartered or technical member of the CIEHF to lead these analyses, this may still not meet the requirements for a COMAH site; this will offer an alternative approach.
